Indigenous Fish and Wildlife

Darab Island is a small tropical island of about 5 hectares; it is surrounded by a tropical reef and home to countless fish species, sea turtles, and abundant marine life. On occasion, dolphins have been spotted.  The surroundings of the island are fantastic for snorkeling or diving.

There are many bird, butterfly and insect species that have made Darab Island their home.  The only larger wildlife species is the Monitor Lizard which can often be seen.
